Cloud Security Engineer -

Required Skill Set:

Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and network design
Hands-on experience in firewall management and administration
Strong knowledge of encryption, VPNs, proxy, load balancers, and other network equipment and protocols
Hands-on experience with Linux, Microsoft Windows Server, Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and VmWare
Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessments and automated tools such as Nessus, Retina, AppScan, WebInspect, AppDetective, Snort
Hands-on experience with DISA Gold Disk and STIGS/Security Checklists
Experience with network and host intrusion and prevention technologies and products
Knowledge of network-based and system-level attacks attacks and mitigation methods.
Knowledge of system-level attacks and mitigation methods with a core competency in Windows and Linux.
Designs audits of computer systems to ensure they are operating securely and that data is protected. Develops and implements recommendations for preventive measures as necessary.
