A new, freely available journal covering international free software legal issues has produced its first issue. The "International Free and Open Source Software Law Review" (IFOSSLR) is a peer-reviewed, twice-yearly publication looking at the intersection of free software and the law. The journal is an outgrowth of the European Legal Network, established by the Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE), and is supported by the Mozilla and NLNet foundations. From the announcement:"Free and Open Source Software has increasingly come to challenge traditional concepts of intellectual property and collaboration by allowing every user to use, study, share and and improve code, facilitating the creation of elegant and effective software that now lies at the heart of the mainstream technology industry.
